Dear Ann,
After I talked to you at the new year party on Dec 25th, I came back to consider what I would do for reducing my weight. Not many fat guys turn to be slim. But I realize that the vegetarian is never getting fat. There are 2 reasons. First, the vegetarian food are not delicious and second, vegetarian food have no fat.
I am the one who want to control my weight because I don't want to be in bowling pin shape for the look. I still eat rice or starch 3 meals a day, but make it one bowl or 2 ladles a meal. I have stopped eating meat except fish and fishery products for about 15 years. I still drink yoghurt and occasionally milk. I eat a lot of vegetable and fruit. Somtam [papaya salad] jubchai[ mixed vegetable soup] numprik kapi[shrimp paste gravy] platoo[mackerel kind fish] soob normai[bamboo shoot hot salad], lab Pla[spiced mince fish], all of these are my favourite. In the evening, I eat 4-6 bananas, or 5-6 tangerines, or mixing varieties of fruit. And importantly, I do slight exercise every morning and walk in the early night when I have time. I drink alcohol once in a while but try to control drinking only a few glasses or two bottles of beer at the time. My weight is about 65 kilogramme. However,I have got a slightly big stomach particularly after eating.
I would like to suggest you to eat some kind of vegetarian including fishes and reduce the quantity of each meal, replacing meat by fruits. Walk everyday and don't sleep more than 6 hours. You can sleep longer when you achieve reducing your weight. Chavalvut Chainuvati[Pee Boo]

why don't you say hello and make people happy
In the old day, when we saw a person, we said hello and talked to them. Everybody were brothers-sisters, friends, or uncles-aunts. Now, why don't we follow this good way? Why we walk quietly with angry faces and don't look at the people around. We don't have to pay, just only look at them, smile and greet them. Don't care about people old mistakes or bad things, be ready to forgive even the cases can not be forgotten. Just keep them in the deeper mind.
We don't want to be a loner, self centered, and self help without cooperation. If we are, we will be tired and easy to depress.
If we want to change. When we see people, look at their eyes and smile. Say hi. And you will have friends and good mood. In 1971, I used to live with 10 american families in the US. under the International Farm Youth Exchange Programme. When I was there and met people on the roads or anywhere, they said hi to me and said to others too. When they saw the car stopped on the road side, they asked if the broken car needed help. It is a lovely tradition.
I wish all people are friendly, generous, and polite. Be happy to give but not interested to receive. The more you give, the more you gain. The word "gain" in this case may not be the same with the thing you give. We may gain happiness, pride, love, and good memory by giving, even we don't expect it. This is a point in buddhist principle.
When I was young, there were always guests came to our house. My job was to serve drinks. If there was anyone came to see one in the family, I would stay with and talk to them. Besides, I would help anyone in the family, if I could. So far,I have assisted everyone anything in which I can do.
My children, the friendly people mostly are successful in their careers. They will go to the top in life. They will know many people and the people will help or promote them. If you want to change your field of work, you must know the people in different fields you want to learn. And if you are close to them, then you can do anything in the wider areas. But if you don't be-friend with other people, how you know about the new job and get the new information for an advantage. I hope that you don't want to repeat the old job all lives. Please be friendly.
Family is important too. You live in your family, you must make them happy with you. Talk to them, say "hi, how are you?" Help them in the family by your volunteer. Don't let anyone ask you to help. You just offer help. And keep good relation with the family. You do more than the others. Be patient, the more you do the more you receive from them. That is "love"
This is the thing I have thought at time. I would like my children to follow my ways. I should be the good example in terms of my career and social behaviour. Since children have left home, I had nothing to give but my guidance and wish them being loved by people around and getting achieved in lives. Chavalvut Chainuvati

My daughter got married. I wish her a bright fortune
My daughter, Nong Beau got married in USA. yesterday. I wish her a prosperity and happiness. I'd like to have a word that Nong Beau should think of business she is interested in. In the US, there is less opportunity for the foreigner to join the office work for high position except being expert in a particular field. Therfore, please save money and invest. Start with small activity and enhance it afterward.
Two of my three children have got married. My youngest boy, Nong Ben, who is living in New Zealand is also married. I am glad they have grown up and been mature. I am watching their progress and hope that they will go further and not turning back home. This is the same way like the birds flying away. However, our home in Bangkok is always their base when they had nowhere to go. This letter is for both of them.
When I was young and joined the exchange programme with the 4H in the US. I used to live with the American Famers and helped them working on farms. When I got back home and had children. I brought the ways I used to see in the US to the children such as drinking orange juice before breakfast, eating fresh vegetable, brushing teeth after eating, etc. I hope that these is continuing to the next generation. Besides, when I had children, I stopped drinking alcohol and worked harder as I could for getting money and promotion. I had no holiday and never thought about day or night, and accepted to do every activities from the office. Now, I have a proud memory when I talk about myself to my children who now are adults. Hope that they would follow my ways.
When my children were little, we did not have much money and could not afford to support some activity such as music lesson. But I tried to encourage them having exercise for health. I took them for swimming every weekends. They had also concentrated in the after school training classes on the weekend.
Again, Nong Beau and Nong Ben, Please look for your talents and capability and start a new activity soon. You need to start something for life security. Don't be afraid of loss. Risk of loss can be our gain afterward. And, loss is the lesson for not doing again, but go to another loss. Loss is always a part of my life too. Good luck my children. Chavalvut

the year 2008 has passed, my children and friends
The year of 2008 has passed. It will never come back but the new year coming. We will never live in this year again. Every mistakes happening could be the lessons, not to repeat them again. Good things will be our memory. Every one cerebrate the new year eve, the time of merry making.
Life is another year older. We are walking to the end with or without the lives' plan. By the time, we have to look back to ourselves, please ask ourselves if we will improve anything for the better lives. I don't want us to remain the same every year. We must get progress. Anything we cannot do in the past, we can bring it up next year. Find new job or even new idea in the old job. Changing make you fresh, and come up with the new ideas. Everyone have to change. Go, finding new jobs and new lives.
It is time to drink, count down with family and friends, watch the fire-cracker and having fun with entertainment until dawn. This is our new year eve.
Early on January first, we are in the 2009, start with the new freshness. leave the bad things behind. Go to the church or temple for merrit. Promise that you will be the good persons who have many good friends, they are able to go with you for a good change. Your family could be ready to change with you. You intend to work harder and save for the future. Plan your next step and invest. Take good care of health and security within your family. Drink if you are in the mood but once in a long while. Smart persons don't get drunk. I got drunk when I was young meant of my sad loss.
The year 2008 was my impressive year. I started a full time retirement. Actually I was not home but spent most time for the family and friend's activities. It was the freedom. There were two things I had to admit. First, there was no more gaining skill of works. I have no responsibility as I used to. Second, the financial ability had to be re-adjust. The monthly income was only 40 percent left. Therefore, the new year is now for my children and friends. I will wait for watching your progress.
Moreover, my dream is what the job you can do. I would like you to do the technical ones. Using talent and not many people can do. The works which you have to use planning, improvement, and risk for gain. There are people who work for the same jobs all lives, or start with and retire from the same duty. This is not for us. You have good brain, and can be trained for talent and skill. Use brain with care and effectiveness.
Go back to family and friends. Cerebrate your new year. Have a good time. I will watch you behind. Happy new year 2009. Chavalvut

My brother's and youngest son's birhthday
Boon, my brother's birthday is Nov. 29th. He is 62. Ben, my youngest son's birthday is Nov. 30th. He is 23. Besides, it is the time of merry holidays. I hope they both enjoy their coming birthdays and prepare themselves for the big cerebration.
The age will increase every year. The present year we live is always the golden year because we lead the normal lives. we still work, come back home for the family and have a deep sleep. These are happiness. Whenever we have problem such as some diseases, accident, handicap, we will miss our normal lives and wish to come back again. Therefore, keep our normal as long as possible, and don't destroy them by drinking, smoking, eating unhealthy food, less sleeping, and ignoring excercise.
Nong Ben, age of 23 is the golden one. You are the big and smart adult. I would like you to plan for the year activities. And provide money for the plan by saving. Set a target for your life and go for that. However, be happy with the time you are doing, not the time you are successful. For example, you are cleaning house. Main target is a clean house by which you are happy when you reach the target. But I read from an e-mail that you must be happy when you are cleaning and when you finish, just be more happy. If you want to be happy when you are doing, please do it by heart. You love to do it and be happy with it.
Boon, I think you are not in Bangkok during birthday but party is a minor event comparing to a lot of things you have done for the family. You should be proud as being a hero of your family and also among our brothers-sister. I know you are always working hard which are the great return to many ones. I wish all your nephews and niece, Nong Ben, Nong Beau, and Nong Bim follow your ways. Strong fighter. Happy birthday to both of you.
For my children, to follow your uncle, Boon. I wish you to have a service mind. Be happy to give more than to receive. Help everyone as you can, make them happy. This is not the gift you get but it is the gift you give. From Por/ Boo Chavalvut

going to the hospital but did not see doctor, no parking
On Wednesday, I went to a hospital in Bangkok at later than 10.00am, intended to check my left part of the brain and left hand which having felt pain since being young. I drove my pickup to the hospital went around it twice and could not find the parking to stop. I was disappointed and got back. I stopped at Central Ladprao Shopping Mall and took a walk for a few minutes. I felt that I had nothing here today and there was a food left at home for lunch. Finally, I decided to get home to access to e-mail as doing it everyday. My life now is boring and there is nothing to do except IT practice. I intend to go back to the hospital again next Wednesday by sky train[BTS]
Actually, I used to go to the hospital by car. But I started from home very early before 6.00am. By that time, there still be some free parking on the top floors at parking building. In Thailand, if we want to go to the hospital, we must leave home very early in the morning. Besides parking, we have to wait in the long queue for seeing doctor and then long queue for getting prescription. I used to come about 7.00am. I waited to see a doctor and got to my turn around noon for 5 minutes. During consulting, The doctor had an outside phone call and discussed about house maintenance. After prescribing to me, I went hurriedly to the pharmacy and waited 3 hours to get medicine. We have to spend all day in the hospital. This time, I thought I did not hurry and intended to see a doctor about noon time or being the last patient of the day. If I had come early, I would have seen the doctor at the same time. However, next Wednesday, I would try late going again but take a BTS train instead.
In spite of paying a full amount of taxes, last year, I paid about 400,000 baht, I have to go to the hospital by queueing with the heavy crowd. Good health care are not sufficient for the citizen. The effective health care mostly are in the government hospital and the private hospital are very very expensive. Sometime, I do not trust the private hospital because of the over prescription for more bill charging. Everyone go to the government hospital whereas a few of the riches use the private ones. I wonder why the government does not increase the hospital with modern eqipment spreading over the country. People can go to the nearest hospital where treatment should be the same everywhere. People should deserve to get the equal service in basic need. Health is essential for people.
I think other people don't have this problem in concern. They accept the Thai ways and get used to the problem I mentioned. However, I accept the Thai ways as well because I am in Thailand. I wish I did not go to the hospital. I do some exercise everyday. Besides that, the horoscope will tell the future, anything happens, let it be. Chavalvut Chainuvati

Night life tour, bring back my younger's experience
Friday night, I went to Soi Tonglor, Sukumvit Road for the late drinking with my wife and one cousin. The one room place's atmosphere was like half bar and half restuarant. Some came to eat and others came for drinks and appetizers. The alcoholic beverage were as general knowing but charged double more than the prices outside. However, it was OK because we knew we should order less and we could touch the lives we got used to when we were young.
The best thing in the bar was the music band that performed in the friendly atmosphere and could stimulate the customers' music mood. The songs were the kinds of English, old time popular. Many guests danced around their tables during the music. All dancing guests were lovely ladies. There were full of guests sitting and standing around all tables. Each table guests were both male and female sitting together.
We drank about 8-10 medium size bottles of light beer and tasted 5-6 snacks. Started from 8pm to late midnight. My eyes shot directly to the music and dancing. Chatting was slightly hard due to loud exciting music.
Thinking of the old days when I was young. This night life was quite common to us. We[I and friends] were the camel-like drinkers and drank almost every day. All salary went away with those drinking and night tours. I enjoyed the atmosphere of drinking, making jokes and laughing. It was not harmful to anyone but health. At the bar, there were many young generation repeating my old experience. Enjoyed yourselves, you guys, My secretly thought.
When I was young, after leaving the bar I would continue drinking to a boiled rice restuarant and went back after nothing left or someone passing out. But last friday night, I went straight back home from the said bar. Things were different when the age changed. Over drinking could be toxic to me more than the days when I was young. However, I really enjoyed the night, stayed long and wished everyone to touch this joyful experience. Chavalvut

faith is also a magic word.
Dear Joomjim,
I was glad to see you again at lunch yesterday and hope to see you more in the future. Thanks a lot for having faith in me. Not many people think that I am good in my profession. Besides, because of lack of confidence, shy personality, and stammer brain, I have not been respected by anyone. I was lucky to get some good positions until retire. This was from luck of my stars [or the planets in horoscope] more than ability. Thanks for raising my capability with sympathy during lunch yesterday.
When I was working, I was always lucky to lead the group. My colleagues had faith and love. They put all effort to their own regular duties. I was always be admired by the former bosses and stakes holders because of working hard with the new and practical ideas and being able to organize the group unity. I did everything the former bosses directed to me. For my colleagues, I tried to promote, give, and encourage the team to work harder with the idea and I also was interested in their private lives and helped them as much as possible. I had no personal follower but regarded every one as my brothers and sisters. I thought this situation would be permanently with me all working life.
When I grew up and climbed to the top level, and was transferred to another organization, the officers dealing with me came from other organizations. I met the new faces and thought that they would be the same team as I used to belong. I expected the same response but things were different. I have felt hard in my work since then and never felt the same again. I thought my new bosses felt about me different from the former ones. Now, my stars had changed. I became the incapable person, except during those times when I was the number one again in the co-operatives and food safety organizations. I had good chance to co-operate with many capable staff and was happy with them in both organizations again. I also built up new relationship and happiness among the officers and me.
Joomjim, I still have a good memory of previous time and am sure that I can work. But now, the time is out. I have no invitation from anyone and think that my working life is ended. I would like to thank again for your positive view to me. I think people get responding from their good doing in the past in different ways and different length of times. Some of my friends are still having the progressive works, some stop working and take the rest and some have passed away before the others. I am in a lucky group still being alive.
For those who are still working, please utilize your time and save money as much as you can. Time will not turn back and passes fastly. At the end of your lives you may need money to travel and enjoy lives. I now, spend most time at home because of not much saving. Chavalvut

Nong Beau and Nong Ben
I got 2 mails from Nong Beau. You sounded happy with your friends. I would like to remind you that time to sleep is not later than midnight. Actually, they suggested going to bed about 10pm. and waking up around 6am. We should sleep about 6-7 hours a day. I am glad to know that you are working hard, please keep on working and don't forget to provide sometime for exercise. I'd like you to cook by yourself too. Being a woman, you must get used to working in the kitchen. In case you have a family, who will manage the safe and healthy food, if it is not you. If the condition in your accommodation is not appropriate, you must think of how to improve that condition such as buying a fridge for your room to preserve your food after cooking.
I sent 4 packs of contact lens to Nong Ben by yesterday post. However, I would like Nong Ben to wear spectacles instead. Don't think of the being looked. Think of your eyes by which there are only one pair in life. Save them as much as you can. Sometime you have to leave your bare eyes when you stay home, walking, sleeping or taking a bath. Also, I would like you to think about a job. Only getting wage can not make you improve. I read about a lady decorating the sandal with colourful plastic flowers and getting a billion from around the world. This was only the new idea with personal talent. You also have talent, please think about them and start trying, little by little. Tide waits for no man. Time passes fastly and never turn back. Tomorrow, I will attend a lecture by a New Zealand guy at the Trade Exporting Promotion Center. There must be some idea come up. Atleast, the business on buy and sell is the basis, up to what is the thing we can buy and sell.
Bye for now. Always waiting to hear from you. From Por, Chavalvut

How to be successful.
I have three children, boy, girl, and boy. Their names are Bim, Beau and Ben. They all are working in different fields. Their ages are 29,27 and 23 years old. They now live far away from each other. Like other fathers in the world, I wish my children to be settle down and healthy. Yesterday, I got a call from the youngest son, he asked how his brother was. I was glad that my children cared for each other. I just finished reading about a family, the history book of an long age lady who had a very nice life with her children. Now she passed away with the age over 90. This family is one of the richest families in Thailand.
The parents[the lady and her husband] migrated from China long time ago. First coming, they had stayed with a relative[uncle] and worked for him until they could provide some money to buy one piece of land and seperated from the relative. They had 8 children[no vasectomy in the old day] and the first child who was the main pole of the family passed away not long after his father. The father had died at the age of 51. The first three children had not got high education whereas they had to help family working. The mother was the leader who was strict to the daily responsibility of everyone and cooked for the family and farm workers. Later they could invest in an agro based factory and expanded more factories to the other areas including to China. Now, their business are consist of farms, many agro-based factories with many production lines for utilizing all raw materials and a few modern big hospitals. The lady got about 51 grand children who have been in many business and studying.
From reading the book, I found some points which should be mentioned here. First, in the family affair, they loved each other. The older 2 brothers and one sister did not go to school but were responsible for the family income until their youngers could be able to learn. Second, everyone had to get some responsibility since being young. They had got works to do after studying. And third, they saved a lot until they could expand the business.
For my family, it is too late to do anything because each one are apart. When they were young, I worked for the government and tried hard. My children stayed home and had no hard work to do except studying. We had no family business. I just hope that the children know I have nothing, a little sum of money has gone except wishing them to achieve in their lives by working hard and be responsible for themselves, friends and family[if any]. How to stay long
Again, I got an interesting lesson about health from e-mail. I'd like to share it. They are as following:-
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctor worry about them. That's why you pay them.
2. Keep cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down. [Keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches]
3. Keep learning. Learn more about computer, crafts, gardening, and whatever. Never let the brain get idle. An idle mind is the devil's workshop. And the devil's name is Alzheimer's
4. Enjoy the simple things
5. Laugh often, long and loud until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who make you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with him/her.
6. Surround yourself with what you love. Whether it's family pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, or whatever. Make a spot your refuge. Keep good relationship with God.
7. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with us in our entire life, is yourself. Live while you are alive.
8. Cherish your health. If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, Get Help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, to a foreign country, but not to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them at every opportunity.
These are for your reminder. But don't froget the whole criteria, healthy food, air for fresh breathing, positive thinking[good mood], appropriate exercises, and having sex [if you can]. You have learnt all of these before. I can not do some of them some times. Chavalvut.

Out of work
Today is my first day being out of work after 2 years at Agricultural Research and Development Agency. Now, I don't know the direction what I will do next. My ambition is still taking my time feasible and keep up with my brain. Blogspot is an alternative channel to share idea from my brain to the others. I am afraid that my idea will not be interesting. However, I wish there are some ones to follow my blogspot idea.
I have been in Agriculture for a long time. But I am not good in this scheme. I have just caught up with some information available for working. Now I know that the world is a part of the sun and is rich of many kinds of mineral. Long long time ago, these minerals had formed an organism and became lives afterward. Solar energy has some influence for lives. Without the sun, there wouldn't have been any life in this universal. My life, a part of this nature fact, was born, grew up and recently, deteriorated. One thing is doubted that why my time has gone too fast.
A pride of my old days is being loved by colleagues in the offices. No doubt that I loved them first and they would love me. Beside love, I adored, trust, and had faith in them.
This statement has no objective, I just write what I am thinking and will write again soon. Chavalvut

joy, a miraculous word
Anyone want to have enjoyable life. Joy means happiness. Either poor or rich can lead a joyful life. From a book, the main factor results this matter is the family. In case a good family, the spouse is good, joyful and lovely, home is like a heaven, but if the spouse is angry easily, hate, self-centered, how the home is like.
It is a risk to get married with someone. We just look at one thing before getting married and love each other. But we don't know about how we would be in the far future. What the spouse will be like when the time passes. Many ones are happy. Those are lucky. Most people get happiness and stress in different times, because a person has both good and bad views. Being in the family and getting stress is common. But getting stress easily almost everyday is unbearable.
I have just learnt some interesting article about this and wanted to distribute it. I don't want anyone to get hurt when getting married and the time passes. Your decision and luck will be together. Self discipline or self control could be the main criteria to prevent the family stress affair. Have you heard a person didnot mind to die? It is better than being alive with stress all the time. Try to cheer up, make practical joke, find some laughing. They are the elements of being joyful. Good luck to all. Chavalvut.

Health again, this time the content were from the daily newspaper and e-mail
I read Matichon, a Thai newspaper, this morning[October 19th], there was a front page column, there were 2 organizations, Sukhothaithamathiraj Unversity and the International Anti-Aging Institute[IAAI]. This column said that Thai people had to face the deterioration before the appropriate age because of some diseases and mental condition. Besides, we were in the unfavourable environment and food, too much fast food, starch, sugar and coffee by which these stuff released free radicals that resulted rapid old. Sleeping between 10pm-6am. was the best time because growth hormone was released for the body.
Medical Doctor Klisda Sirampuch from the Matichon's column offered 3 suggestions called 3H. They were
1. Healthy Weight. Ruducing starch, sugar, particularly from bread and cake. For sugar, the sweetened substances which was not natural were dangerous as being related to cancer infection.
2. Healthy Diet and Lifestyle. We should eat 5 handfuls of vegetable, and two fishes from Marine[Pla Too-looks similar to mackerel]
3. Healthy Mind. Practising meditation by deep breathing in, stopping for 4 seconds and then breathing out.
He also suggested that we should use 2 sides of our brain such as using both hands working. Making ourselves a little hungry, this could stimulate growth hormone and made us feeling happy. He also mentioned about 30 times sit up for exercise and a control of a cup of coffee a day. The warmer, the coffee, the increase, the caffeine. Caffeine was an important free radical.
The above content was from the papers. Remember that there are many suggestion about health and the recommendation are similar, nearly to each other. There are more recommendations which concern to health . One example is trying to practise good things everyday. There are 3 good practising, doing good, thinking good and looking good. Don't believe in one recommendation but if there are more and they are almost the same, we have to believe and practise some of them. Chavalvut

Prebiotics and Probiotics
A few days ago, I went to a shopping center's super market, there was a young lady demonstrated her prebiotic beverage and handed a leaflet on detail to me. Besides, I met an issue in Sansara [Reader Digest] about prebiotics in page 158 of October 2008 edition. Therefore this statement was interpreted from that leaflet on Inulin and above said San Sara.
If you have suffered from problems as following
- too often stomach upset
- functional disorder of excretory system
- disease sensitive infection, exhaustion, and allergy
- risk of cancer which caused from less vegetable and fruit eating
- unpleasant mouth and body odour
The same leaflet said that Dr. Elias Metchnikoff, Nobel Prize Biologist found that death and getting old were mostly from toxin accumulation in large intestine. The alarm of being sick could start from feeling imbalance. This was because of the increase of harmful micro-organism in large intestine.
Excrete waste should be in characters of floating, golden yellow, soft round with long fiber, and no smell. For those who didn't go to the toilet everyday, the waste would be fermented, released gas and might produce the free radical. Leaving it in a long time, the waste might be absorbed back to the blood vessel and caused intestine cancer and many diseases.
Facts. There were 400 strains of micro-organism which could be extended into million millions. The micro-organism in one person was 3 kilograms in weight. The micro-organism could be in 2 groups, probiotics, and harmful bacteria.
Probiotic bacteria. Bifidobacteria. This bacteria protected intestine wall that preventing toxin absorbing to the body organs. It also produced lactic acid and short-chain fatty acid. These two acid substances stopped growth of harmful bacteria such as E. coli, Clostidium perfringens, Salmonella spp. Besides, Bifidobacteria contributed the producing of vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, Nicotinic acid, and Folic acid, and increased the efficiency of vitamins absorbtion.
Lactobacilli was the stimulant of the natural immunity to increase.
Balance of micro-organism in large intestine. Weakness and sickness might come from the imbalance of bacteria in intestine. Probiotic bacteria was less whereas the harmful bacteria was increased. When a person getting old, the number of Lactobacilli is still fixed but Bifidobacteria might decrease, resulted the immunity of the old people being weak and the excrete waste was black and bad smell. This might cause the risk of intestine cancer. The problems were:-
-taking the antibiotic medicine in a long time
-being stress in a long time
-too much eating sweet, animal meat, and fat
-always taking purgative pills
-intestine detoxification by saline water or coffee water.
-eating contaminated food.
However, these problems could be overcome by :-
-eating high fiber food for fibers[fruit, vegetable, brown rice, etc]
-reducing high protein and fat food[ some fishes should be OK]
-drinking 6-8 glasses of fresh water
-practising exercise everyday
Prebiotic was the indigestible food fiber in the digestive system but it was the probiotic bacterial nutrient which secured diet balance and good health. If you are interested in their product in the leaflet[Inulin], website is www.nutracare.in.th I am not concerned with them except reading about it in the leaflet distributed from a supermarket.
In nature, Prebiotic food were in our daily diet if we ate regular Thai Food. They were onion, banana, garlic plant and legume. Anna Denny from an English Nutritiion Foundation said that we could eat pre and probiotics together or nearly together such as Yoghurt with honey and banana.
These were my translation. As being a Thai, 63 years old man, I was not sure if this statement could be well understood. However, my ambition was for everyone finding it useful for the next days diet. Thanks for attention. Chavalvut.

went to see a doctor
Finally, I went to see a doctor to look at my fever which seemed never recover. He said that my internal throat was bruised and red. He prescribed a set of antibiotics, bruised relief pills, paracetamol, and antihistamine. my bill was charge about 1,500 baht or was equal to US.$44. I wonder why we can not win the microorganism naturally. However, I'll take the medicines as prescribed. I want to recover as soon as possible.
What happens if I have no money and can not go to the hospital which is expensive. My fever may be worse everyday and the germs will kill me afterward. This is why I have to provide a sum of money for my health care. I have not heard of any health insurance around here except the one connected with life insurance. Are there any health insurance in the well developed countries? I think, there are some.
I send my wish to the ones who read this statement for keeping away from any diseases. Make yourself strong by healthy food, exercises and think in the good ways for having good sleep. Good luck, everyone. Chavalvut

could not sleep at night
Last night, I got a fever and could not sleep. This had happened for 4-5 days and the night before I had a few bottles of beer, making me sleep less and felt sleepy in the day time yesterday. I tried to sleep by closing my eyes, deep and long breathing and put my mind in Breathing, breath in, breath out, breath in, breath out....... Then I fell to sleep a while and woke up. I did it again and had a short sleep until dawn. Certainly, bad headache remained but I tried to eliminate it by exercise and washing some cars. In the late morning, I accessed e- mail and felt sleepy, then, I had a few minutes nap and now I feel better. I don't want to see the doctor, just try to make myself stronger and let it recover naturally. Hope that tonight, the condition will be better but now the fever still remains.
I always find a hard time of sleeping less at night. I think the healthy people who sleep long hours are the happy and lucky people. I used to watch TV., do some walking as meditation[ think of walking steps, left step, right step,..... ] or walking outdoor, or reading when I could not sleep. I thought that when I could not sleep, my brain was full of thinkng and was not in rest. I tried to make my brain in peace and sleep again. Never take any sleeping pills but I did it when I was young for many years and found that it was dangerous.
In buddhism, the principle teaches us to rest our minds, put our mind in what we are doing. That means, idea is the main machine of the body to commit sin or do merit. The frustration and hatred are the main factors keeping you awake. But for me, I have been stressed for working hard, worrying, and serving too many people for many years. This has made me a short sleep at night. Now I tried to sleep early but I wake up after a few hours of sleeping
I think you are lucky you are able to sleep at night everyday. This is a wish of the people who could not sleep. What is more in your life if you can lead the normal life and have good sleep everydays. Chavalvut

Bumpy road to Chiangmai and other area
As I went to Chiangmai by car. I found that some parts of road to Chiangmai and back to Bangkok were destroyed in many area. The very bumpy roads were as far as some hundred kilometer. They started from Kampaengpet through Tak, Tern, and ended at Lampang and also on the way back. These rough roads made me think how the authority officers left them damaged for a long time and made the cars' wreckage.
In Bangkok and many provinces, there are water drainage tubes laying under the main roads which the round or rectangular caps or covers are lower or higher than the road surface. These different levels on the road surface shorten the working age of the car anti-bumping mechanic parts. I had these experience on Wipawadee, Gham-wongwan, and roads in Thonburi, Samutsakorn. There must be bumpy roads in other areas too. I don't know why they don't build the road by the same level smoothly, at which they are able to. The car spare parts business like to have this situation. Good money for them. I wonder if there are the same things in other countries, or just concentrate in Thailand, the land of smile.

Coming back from Chiangrai and Chiangmai
Chiangrai [September, 24-26th, 2008]
I had not been in Chiangrai for sometimes and then I was able to go there again. I stayed at Wiang Inn Hotel for 2 nights. The first night, I ate at the 24 hours roadside restuarant [boiled rice restuarant] in front of the hotel where I used to have fun drinking with friends until dawn quite a few times. The second night, I went to a Maekok riverside restuarant. I had good times bringing back my memory at both nights.
The first night after eating, I asked a young masseuse coming to my room for traditional massage and finding that a girl [Ar Ka Hilltribe] did an exellent massage to me. She said that she had first training in Chiangmai for one month at 3,000 baht. She had 5 years experience of this job. I paid 300 baht for her massage and 100 baht for a tip.
In Chiangrai, I went to attend the 10 anniversary of Mae Fa Luang University. The program was so grand and every one enjoyed their participation. Ceremony was started with the student procession to the HRH King's Mother[Mae Fa Luang] monument for paying respect and love. The procession was consist of the group of international flags, local senior citizens, and students. The senior people, administrators and university committees were participated in this respecting worship.
In the Hall, there were the ceremony of congratulated speeches of many VIPs, including the ambassadors and consuls of almost ten countries that donated or gave some assistantship to the univesity. The important part was the presenting of tokens to the outstanding students, lecturers for their works and researches and the people who contributed to the university success including some of the ambassadors. This was the one of impressive occasion.
In the afternoon, I joined a part of an international seminar for a while and then went to Mae Sai to tour the bordering market. I bought a short pant for home dressing. There were some boys selling viagra approaching me. I thougt they came from the otherside of the area. I teased them I was on duty officer, then more boys came to approach me. I had to shout them getting away. They must have something back up and were not afraid of me.
The plane price from Bangkok to Chiangrai and back[one economic and one business class] cost me about 9,700 baht or being equal to the salary of a first start bacheral degree government officer in Thailand. Things were expensive.
Chiangmai[ Sept. 27-29th]
After coming back from Chiangrai to Bangkok by plane, next day, 6.00am, I and my family and cousins, 5 adults and one small boy, went to Chiangmai by a Toyota Hilux Vigo double capped pick up car. This car was powered by 3,000 cc. diesel engine with 4 wheels drive. We stopped at the car rest areas 3 times on the road and 2 times on the way back. The fuel round trip was taken about 110-120 liters for approximately 1,500 km. It was not so bad comparing to the plane expense.
We arrived in Chiangmai at 2 pm. Starting the program with late lunch at Lamduan Restaurant for traditional curried noodle. Later, we went to a company out of town for my son's business. I drove the others to Chiangmai Orchid Hotel. This was one of my favourite hotel and it was by the shopping center. In the evening, we went to a popular local retuarant and two of my very close friends joined our dinner. We had a very good time discussing in many topics including life's fact in buddhist principle.
The next day was Sunday and offices closed. We, therefore, went for leisure to the hot spring tourist site in Sankampang. We enjoyed boiling eggs in hot spring for eating and someone took a foot bathe in the warm water stream. The temperature at the spring was 105 degree celcius, but at the stream, it was down to around 50 degree. We took a few pictures. Then, we went to the resturant there for lunch. There were small rain shower when we ate. At the end, we went back to the hotel for taking rest. Someones went to the shopping center for window shopping, hair dressing, and foot massage. I and my grand-nephew went to find some ice cream at KFC. In the evening, we went to my friend's home for home made dinner. It was so delicious as usual. I and this friend used to live together when we were young. Before going back to the hotel, we went to Night Bazaar for shopping. I and my grand nephew got each local made shirts. Others got the curtain fabrics and some souvenirs.
The last day before going back, my son and my wife went for their business with the bank and Land Department Office. I went to our small land to witness some people measuring the area. Everything was done before noon and we went to the road side local market for the last shopping of local food stuff and lunch. We left Chiangmai at 1.00 pm. and headed for Bangkok. On the way back, we were stopped by the policemen twice because of driving fast. My son drove all the way around 100-120kms/hour, but sometimes, it went to 125. We arrived at Bangkok around 8.30 pm. and had dinner at Thai E-san Restuarant near our home.
These two trips gave me some excitement after 2 years of retiring. I went back to the places where I used to go before. I thought that there must be other chances to come back again. My life should be looking forward to far distance and hope. I will not stay at home and do some house work. This world is still big enough for me to see. This is my ambition. Wish that everyone agree with me. Chavalvut.
I had good times bringing back my memory at both nights.

nutrition again from a seminar
Yesterday, I joined the thesis progressive presentation of the Ph.D. scholars in agriculture and it's products in Thailand. The Agricultural Research Development Agency was the sponsor of this program. There were many interesting works, particularly about food. There were finding of mulberry cultivars for high anthocyanin, GABA from rice for mixing in beverages or food, fishes and fish feeding, natural power [Solar energy, wind, water etc.] planning by remote sensing for human and local uses. Listening from various lectures, finding that, we tried to find more opportunity and choice for our living, a part from our normal routine.
For me, I prefer brown rice[semi-dehulled rice] which is high vitamin B. From past study tour experience, there were many substances which were usuful to our health in rice husk, such as Inositol, Magnesium, etc. For breverage, I learnt about yoghurt and fruit juices. Fruit and vegeable are essential as we have to eat many kind of them for vitamins, anti oxidants and fibers, besides, fish's oil and protein are also good nutrition. These are the basic daily diet and others will be the alternative for choice. Don't eat too much meats and don't forget daily exercise. Thirty minutes brisk walk is the one of choice. It is an easy way. Don't spend too much on eating but eating is maintaining of life as someone said "you are what you eat"
I am going to Chiangrai tonight and Chiangmai on Saturday. There must be some idea from Travelling I may like to note here. We must be fed up with the nutritious information. If I have something else I will do it right away. Thanks for attention. Chavalvut.

phytonutrients, organic substances from plants
I read about phytonutirents and found that they were interesting for health. There were many substances in plants which maintained our normal metabolism and prevented some diseases such as cancer, heart attack etc.
Saying that we ate various kind of vegetable and fruit in colours of green, orange, or red, we got many substances including vitamins and some elements. Besides, yoghurt acted like an probiotics containing advantage microorganism. Soybean, onion, brussica [cabbage, cauliflower, chinese kale etc] and other vegetable helped to prevent cancer too. This article encouraged us to eat a lot of fresh fruit and vegetable. [But,to make them clean from pesticides, wash them with running water about 2-3 minutes before eating.]
Substances and elements were as following:- vitamin C, vitamin E, betacarotene, polyphenols, bioflavonoids, carotenoids, lycophene, anthocyanin, zinc and serenium etc.
Genestein from soybean, stop feeding cancer cells by not building small blood veins to the cells, Indoles from brussica, Saponins from legumes, Lycophene from tomatoes, egg plant, Quercetin from onion, these substances were to prevent cancer and other diseases.
Other preserved food acted like the prebiotic [food that could not be digested in the large intestine for the probiotic bacteria to digest.] These could be the fermented food.
This statement is interpreted from a Thai article named Food Industry Thailand Sep-Oct 2007 by my ambitious effort. You have to forgive me if finding any mistake or wrong interpretation. I am not the nutritionist or chemist, just a man who is interesting. Please correct my mistakes in this statement if you know, for others to read. with my thanks. Chavalvut. I tried not to get hurt when I was forgotten
Blame myself, if someones forget me. There must be some mistakes, such as I keep some distance too far or I quarrel with the ones. If I want someone to think of me all the time I must make him/her closed to me, even he/her is good or bad. Going to see people and having good talk are important. Even I come from far away, I can be the close one by seeing him/her everyday. Therefore, if I understand this fact, I won't be hurt, when someones forget me. It's me to approach someones, I, afterward, will not wait for anyone coming to see me.
There was a story about an old man went to sit at the lake bank where a girl was swimming in the lake everyday. One day, he asked the girl if she was afraid of a crocodile. The girl said she was not afraid of crocodile because it never came but she was afraid of an old man, he came everyday. [ Just a joke ]
The one who never talk could get less advatage than the one with good talk. The successful working persons usually have good talk. They are intelligent, good memory and talk in good ways. The leaders' speech will be loud, clear and good contents. No sarcasm and no criticism. Never hear the successful ones talk about people in a bad way. And when the people listen to the sucessful ones, people will like them because of good talk. They will treat the listeners as important as they respect. If anyone has a habit of less talking, he/she should find the appropriate jobs which do not reqire talking such as technologist, doctor, writer, etc. The best investors need to have good talk as well. Don't be shy, keep talking in good ways.
How to respect the listeners, I used to know a man. He remembered the names of their colleages and had good memory with them by mentioning while he was talking. Giving a chance to the listeners talked and he listened and accepted their idea by responding. Treated the people being leaders in different ways. Not one man's show. Didn't hate, didn't love didn't be close to special one. Everyone were important equally. If one wanted to be close to anyone, didn't let anyone know. These were my behaviour when I worked for the government many years ago.
Now, I am staying home and looking back to my past. I hope these written notes will be useful to the youngs, particularly my children if they read these articles. I can not go back to the past but the young generations who read these articles will transfer these experience and represent me in their generaton. Chavalvut.

10 elements for being good health from a piece of hand out
1. If we eat vegetable and fruit everyday, we will get away from large intestine cancer. Also the same, I used to attend a seminar on nutrition organized by WHO, Osaka, long time ago, one solution came up with eating 400 kg of fruit and vegetable everyday, we could reduce risk of digestive system cancer. In the hand out, we should be interested in cabbage, carrot, orange and apple. [ but in Thailand, there are various kinds of fruit and vegetable, including food ingredient and herb. Each contains advantage and disadvantage substances, take them all, ones by ones in each day.]
2. Being healthy for gum with mouth wash by TEA. Tea contains polyphenol which is anti bacterial growth substance. If we drink tea after meal, we can reduce risk of gum diseases.
3. Drinking water at least 5 glasses per day, we can reduce risk of large intestine and urinary bladder cancers up to 50 percent. I drink about a liter when I wake up in the morning.
4. Walking bare foot on the soft sand surface. I heard some one said about walking bare foot on the lawn. This might be the same thing, for blood circulated stimulation.
5. Evening sun light help to synthetize vitamin D. The lady who never touch sunlight may be suffered with breast cancer. Strong sun light in the afternoon is too dangerous. Wait for the evening rest.
6. Whole wheat bread [ brown rice should be included] There are many chemical substances and fiber in the husks. I heard about brown rice that it contains Gamma Orizanol, Gamma Amino Butyric Acid etc.which are our advantage for health.
7. Tuna Salad or fishes Menu strengthen memory efficiency. These reaction include eating some rich vitamin B2 food such as egg, milk, soybean, which help us being in good mood and good memory.
8. Quick walking. Exercise for heart and blood vessel fitness or heart beating fastly. Do it 20 minutes per day. For me, being in a hot weather in Thailand, I try to get sweat every day. But one of my problem, I have to remind, is my over exercise for almost 30 years and now I have bone deterioration in the neck, back and knee joints. Don't take too much exercise in each day.
9. Get good fat into the body. Fatty acid help to absorb vitamin A, D, E, and K. Unsaturated Fatty Acid from olive, beans, and Omeka 3 from fishes encourage energy and prevent cancer and heart diseases.
10. Just do nothing. Have a rest, by staying home alone, or do as we like. Don't rush the time. I like to walk back and forth everyday.
I interpreted from a Thai Hand out, thought that it was interesting. There might be some wrong words. Forgive me for the mistakes. Chavalvut.

Spending time upcountry in Japan
I had an opportunity to spend time out of town in Japan. On the roads when we travelled, noticing that there was no old car at all. Why they used new cars, asking the group leader, knowing that the government increased taxes every years as the cars getting old. Therefore, changing new cars made the taxes cheaper or it was more feasible. The old cars were tore down in parts and the garages exported the parts to the other countries. The cars' size mostly were small to medium according to the small roads in the villages. There were no pick up car like ones in Thailand but there were some small trucks. On the roads, there were the parking areas in every certain distances. The parking areas comprised of modern toilets, elegant restuarants and souvenir or convenient stores etc. There might be a rule that the drivers must rest after driving in a certain period of time.
The low incomes were hard to own car becuase of the certain rules such as the self parking space, taxes etc. Bicycles riding were also common on the roadsides. The walking paths were big enough for riding. People such as students, housewives, retirers took bicycles to the near target places. They stricted to the driving rules. For example, the bicycles crossed the roads at the traffic lights in one row. Any riding on the paths would be in one row. These roadside scenery therefore looked beautiful for the foreigner like me.
I understood that we sat and slept on the floor in the Japanese houses. The houses were modern, clean and house's figures were Japanese style. There was no rural area because everywhere looked the same for me. For the safety, at the night time, if we opened the door or house window, the security guards or polices would come because the door opening connected with the alarm system. In the morning, I went for a walk in the village, the atmosphere were quiet, beautiful, nice weather, no homeless pets and there were places like parks for a walk or rest. They were the heaven of the residents.
For farming. Japanese were intent on their practices. Rice farming, they used the light reflected ribbons hanging covering the farms for preventing insects, and somewhere, farmers set the man puppets on farms to prevent birds. Even the farm were small, they tried making good quantity and quality yield. All rice farm looked uniform. Farmers also added value by processing and making end products and transported to the supermarket by themselves. There were several rice mill booths in the villages. Cooperatives were so strong there. there were many kind of business which the cooperatives offered including making the Parking Area business on the roadsides, the matchmaker services, etc. Farmers got farm input and machinery from cooperatives, probably in term of credit. But the processing of the raw materials to add value, until getting the end products such as white rice in the bags, farmers may do it by themselves.
Once I went to an orange orchard farm, It was the slope farmland by which the famer made the concrete blocks like the stairs. The walking paths and the roads for machinery were also concretes. The soil under the plants were covered with white plastic sheets. This white sheet was for making sun light intensity reflected to the fruits and made same yellow colour all around the fruits. It was so intensive.
For the dairy, and also livestock farms, they were clean and furnished with the practical technique which farmers thought of by themselves. There were not appropriate practices in the books but by their own experience and idea. Let me show 3 examples, one, they used the rice straws spreading on the 10-20 degree slope floors for manure. When the cows were walking, their feet pushed the rice straw down to the wide dishes at the low end of the pens' floor. The rice straws mixing with the manure the cows excreted could be eliminated by sweeping to the crop lands. Two, they sprayed water on the roof to cool the pens. And three, there were some space areas for animals to walk in term of animal welfare.
There are more thing in detail to talk about. I wonder if anyone is interested in particular items. I would like to finalize that I'd like to look at Japan and have it as a heroic model in my idea. These experience prove that everything can be done by working hard, thinking practically and do it as thought. Everything are invented by man. And we can do it by our brain. It's time we tried. Chavalvut.

Life in Japan
During my stay in Japan, life was so rushed. Schedule was full. I bet it was the same as general Japanese doing. They looked working hard. And they got some return with comfortable living and environment. I remembered every toilets were automatic, such as water valves, flushing. The toilet condition were very clean, everywhere. Roads were also clean and furnished with many trees or roadside parks. there were no dog manure on the roadsides.
Japanese food are popular among Thai young people. They are healthy and tasty. For me, I prefer Thai style but Japanese food are OK. At the time I visited, we had Japanese food every meals. Fortunately, they were Asian. The chopsticks were bamboo made and used for one time, then, thrown away.[very clean] I usually did not take any meat but fishes and watery meats were OK, plenty in Japanese Menu. I was not careful of germs or nematodes even we ate raw frozen food many times. I believed everything were safe in Japan. I went to the 24 hours convenient stores [ Lawson ] twice to buy some bananas because I had to have fruits before going to sleep.
In the toilets of the hotels or guest houses, there were tooth brushes and tooth pastes, razors, and other toiletries on the washing basins for the guest service. These were very common everywhere.
When you go to see the Japanese, remember that you must have your name cards, the exchange of name cards is a tradition of introducing each other. Aso, the exchange of gifts or souvenirs has to be thought of before going to Japan.
At the evening or early night,I observed that Japanese liked to stay out door when the weather were good. Outdoor climate were so beautiful for the Japanese. Except the drinking group, they could go to the restuarants, or some drinking bars. These were where Karaoke and Edamame [vegetable soybean] were consumed, together with beers or Sake. Young people could go to the shopping areas or the city centers. Another remembering, I believe, Japanese were strict with the rules. Being in the queue is common for them. Even they have big population, but the people keep being under rule and tradition, and these make them move fastly and having many people is not their problem. They share their rights in the public smoothly.
Japanese shopping areas were on the walking street out door covering with the roof all along the road. There were also shopping malls which look very elegant such as Sogo or Robinson etc. There were many kinds of shop such as 100 yen shops, Big Camera etc.
Finally, I regard Japan as a heaven whereas there still be hellish lands somewhere in the world. I have to end my writing now and see you next letter. Bye for now. Chavalvut
Japan again[ my favourite beverage and food]
The most favourite items in Japan is beer, sake and rice. I prefer beer because they contain low alcohol content. Many people even ladies drink beer with dinner meals. For rice, both steam and boiled rice are tasty and soft chewing. Sometimes they show aroma smell too.
During my visit to Japan last week, my happy time was eating dinner. We drank beer and sake every day. My stomach and brain recovered from alcohol after drinking rapidly. I hardly did it in Thailand. Drinking beer here is expensive compare to other drinks. Chavalvut

Just back from Japan
I have been to Japan many times, starting from 1971. This time I went to Yamaguchi, Wakayama, Kyoto and Osaka between August 26-31th, 2008. I was in the group who were looking for technology such as rice bran processing products, poly lactic acid polymer for plastic wares, or other laboratory processes. And, we met with the academic institute high rank staff to sign MOA for the cooperation in the future. This was a task of the office I am working for and my working contract will be ended at the end of October. It could be my last formal trip in my life.
Anytime I went to Japan, I impressed the cleanliness of the country. These included the public areas, resident areas, restuarants, tourist spots, etc. Event the public rest room or the rest room in the restuarants or the hotel areas were very clean and furnished with the new technological equipments such as automatic water valve, or automatic toilet cleaning system. Besides, Japanese were so neat, disciplinary, friendly, gentle, and good service. We could taste some food at the food stores even we didn't buy them. Japanese women were so cute and good mind.
The only thing I have not impressed was the expensive lives. Everything were so expensive such as food, hotel, drugstore, departmentstores, supermarkets. There were many 24 hours stores such as Lawson, Seven-eleven, etc.
For the scenery, Japan was so green with decorated plants every where. We went to Nara to see the biggest Buddha Statue in the temple. The site was ancient style, and green with plants and lawn. Don't have to say that they were beautiful. As a matter of fact, everywhere, there were parks,at which hill or water being a part in the scenes, . Saying that Japanese live with the traditonal houses, healthy food and beautiful environment. I am envious of their lives except for standard of living. Chavalvut Chainuvati

how to be the good salespersons
A few days ago, I met an old friend. Now, he retired from professional work and was a salesman in a wellknown direct sale business. I talked to him and had an idea of how to be a good salesperson as imitated him. Everyone have to be the good salespersons, we don't have to sell anything but at least, we sell ourselves to the people we meet. The way to be the good salespersons in my idea, noticing from my friend are as following:--
1. Don't try to sell our products all the time. There must be time to talk about something else such as family, weather, politics, old time relation etc.
2. Idea exchange is important. Don't dominate talking. We should say less than the listeners. Give them a chance to express some opinion. And, accept or respect their opinion.
3. Having full of humour mood. Everyone like laughing. However, jokes must not disturb any listeners' feeling but, if we can, make them proud of their passed heroic activities. In other words, we are not any hero but the listeners are always hero in our mind. Remember that we don't talk much about ourselves, but we mostly talk about listeners and their interests.
4. Being helpful. Volunteer, invite or host the activities which the listeners like to do. if we don't have any potential of such activities, try something else. Don't do anything we don't have talent at it, e.g. singing, if we can not sing properly, don't have to do it. But we can go to listen the musics with the people.
Many things more to mention. We may think of something else and share. I will see you again soon. Luckily, I am going to Japan tonight and come back on August 31st. See you later. Chavalvut.

people are different and the same
Do you think the idea of the people all over the world are the same? And also the idea are different even for people in the same family? For example, people's imagination of ghost, we have ghost every where in the world, idea is the same, but the imagination and idea of ghosts are different. Thai ghost looks ugly whereas European ghost look like gentleman but sucking blood from the victims' neck.
I really like to read the history of the people. In Thailand, the cremation ceremony, they like to distribute the books for the guests who attend the cremation ceremony as the complimentary, and in the books there must be the history of the honorable deads. I will read their history right after getting the books. Finding that, people are different but some points are the same. We have our own life cycle which are different in life ways but everyone must have good and bad views in lives. Good things are different, some are beautiful, some are intelligent and some are rich. but there are not every people are intelligent, beautiful, rich and healthy together in one life. And finally, we all get old, sick and dead. These will be the same for every lives
If I am comparing myself to a man I know, he is rich, progressive and healthy, I will envious him. I compare only the good things he gets but I ignore his bad things. I think he is lucky getting everything in his life. But, finally, he may suffer from some serious disease and being handicapped fastly. This time, how do I want to be like him? Being myself is the best thing and don't want to compare with anyone, at last.
I am reading a life history of the former Director General of Rice Department in many years ago. He is now many years more than 80 years old. He was the scholarship awarded student to Cornell University and got Ph.D in Biology Science from that welknown institute. Then the World War II exploded. He joined the Free Thai Party [Thai Liberation] in the World War II. He worked very hard and took his life risky with his nation-love performance. After the War, he suffered with malaria and went back to USA for treatment and it took 6 months to recover.
I personally knew him because I first started my work at Rice Department and he was my big boss. After ten years time, I met him again as being the advisor of my extension work program. I really respected him and regarded him as one of my hero.
I never be as good as him but I wonder if I write my history and whether anyone read my book in the future and want to be like me or has a great respect of me like I am doing to my first big boss.
In conclusion, I am trying to say that don't think anyone is better than us. We must have or try to have something good too. And be proud of our goodness. We are unlike the others. Someday, I will write my history as mentioning and hope that there must be a few to read and want to do like I have done before. Chavalvut

Psychological terms
There are 2 couples of psychological terms I used to learn about 40 years ago. Optimistic and pessimistic, optimistic is looking at people in the good way and pessimistic is looking in the bad way. Extrovert and introvert, extrovert is being pleased to meet people, smiling and be friend, introvert is quiet, self esteem and look negative to people. Certainly, being achieved in your career, you have to be optimistic and extrovert. In other words, you have to be a good person and friendly. Don't get angry, don't be greedy and don't think only of yourself.
These are for the young guys like you. I am too old for working now. For my experience, the successful people are talkative, friendly, and self-confident. The best thing for them is being intelligent, practical, and specialized too.
There are no rain in Bangkok for a few days but in Nongkai and Mookdaharn which are on the Maekong Riverbank have been flooding for a couple of days. Natural disasters can not be forecasted and can not be protected in time. They could happen anywhere and anytime. Everytime we wake up in every morning, we should thank [something] we still in the normal life. Being normal is happiness, but we don't know it until we get something abnormal. For example, if I suffer from a serious disease and can not recover it, the best thing I wish is coming back to the normal life. Money or anything is not as important as our normal lives. I used to be in operation at the hospital, when I laid down with sick in bed, one thing I wished, was being normal as people walking around, these people seemed to be strong as I wanted to be like. Now we are lucky to be normal, we must do something for the bad luck people.
Good luck for every readers. See you soon. Chavalvut

To my children, you will get what you do
In buddhism, there is a popular proverb. That is " To do good, we will receive good, and to do bad, we will receive bad. This is the fact of nature. But people may think of different ways. For example, if I offer the monk's food, I'll be rich. But offering the monk food and being rich are different. If you want to be rich, you have to work hard, do some saving and invest more. But offering the monk food, you will be happy for giving. This is a happiness in heart. Matichon Newspaper[August 17th 2008,page6] Pra Paisal Visalo[http://budnet.info]said that if you grow mango, you will get mango. You can not get money from mango tree. Therefore, everything will reflex exactly what you are doing. You want to pass the exam, you must study hard. You want people around love you, you have to love them and do good to them too.
All people have both good and bad in them. Positively, I'd like you to look at people in good way. Please ignore their ugliness or some of the things you don't like. You have to have friends. Do good to them and make them love you.
Your success in life comes from having friends. I have seen a lot of successful people who are popular in the society. Some have talents, some are expert in special things. Most of them are respected by the people. Among the group of friends, they find you a good job, they introduce good things to you.
You must have long time future plan, this plan should be furnished with your sideline jobs. You can not have only income source. Many income sources make you a financial security. This doesnot mean you work long hours in a day. It is your technique how to achieve with leisure, exercise and good health. Being smart need good brain and clever idea. Please fight for survivour. watching the movie
Last night, I went to see a movie. It was " One Heart Together" [Noung Jai Daeew Gan], written by Princess Ubonrat Rajkanya Sirisopa Panawadee. She also performed in the film. The story was about a widow successful business woman[ Princess] and her daughter. Her daughter volunteered for the rural poor school in Chiangrai and wanted to be a teacher there whereas her mother didnot agree. Later, both met an accident and there were the story about her mother. I will not say in detail because the film is still showing in the theater and would like to recommend you watching this film. I can tell that it was a good film [Thai Standard] and I enjoyed watching it. The story made me follow the next step of scene. The actors were also so good and looked good. The content were based on the real situation. As I want to say is we have to develop education of people as a first priority. To make them clever first and then economics will come with stable basis.
It was my first experience watching movie at night since long time ago. The atmosphere was so good. I saw a lot of young people passing by. They were lovers, friends, family, etc. Saying that I could be the oldest on yesterday night. I felt happy and had a good sleep afterward.
I think I will do it again soon. There is the coming comedy names Boonchoo [ Boonchok, a son of Boonchoo]. I intend to watch it. Chavalvut

To my children
Hi ! everyone,
Today [August 15th] is the Chinese Day [ Sat Jean]. People who has some chinese blood worship spirits in the morning at their home by offering food and necessary facility to the spirits as they believe as a tradition. The traffic in Bangkok today, therefore, is quite good, whereas it is the Chinese people's special holiday. Also today is not the busy day for me, I stay home and apply for Blogspot. I'd like this to be my media to approach you and people.
I intend to go to a cinema[ Major Cinneplex] tonight. I have never watched a film in the theater for ages. Only watching from cable TV. I want to touch the outside world and be with the crowd. When you are not old, you never understand why we, oldies, need to be with the young sometimes. It atleast makes me feel fresh and get some strength from the social world. To be home with nothing to do make me exhausted.
Teeth is important for life as same as eyes, ears, and limb. After eating, you should clean your teeth. We, asian people have the sensitive teeth. And don't forget to exercise everyday until you get sweat. Eat vegetable and fruit mainly and try to have enough sleep [only 7 hours] everyday. These are what I reminding you for today. Stay out of Bangkok, going to see a doctor is quite hard and expensive. So, the best way is looking after yourselves. These are all for today, I'll write again soon. From Por
