What a bad luck, getting diarrhoea this time

Since the last two days, I have got diarrhoea. My muscle was painful and I got an headache. I could not sleep for two nights. I went to see the doctor, he said I was affcted by some germs in the intestine resulting water could not infiltrate into intestine wall but went down to the large intestine with the waste. He prescribed 3 bags of soluble mineral, 6 tablets of antibiotic, and some tablets to prevent vomiting. He added that these germs were contaminated with the food we ate. I could not remember which food and when I ate that caused this terrible sick.
I am thinking of Japan, USA, Australia, New Zealand, and EU countries, where the food safety are very strong. The governments are strict with the sanitary of the public. Saying that, people rarely get diarrhorea in those countries. More over, public places are also very clean, including the toilets. People have strong discipline and are trained for the self respect of the society rules.
Being in the middle status in Thai Society, it is hard to control food sanitation because there are many levels of food any where and any store. Food safety is ignored by most people. Some cases should be indicated such as 1. Many small restuarants on the road side, the owners who are cooking, also receiving money with the same hand, same hand same touches, money and food. 2. Somewhere, the cooks use one spoon tasting every food before being handed to the customers, and the spoon is used for following food again 3. Food in the middle of the table for sharing, there are no sharing spoon, every one use their spoon to pick up food to their plates. And 4. Those who drink whisky duriing eating, the waitresses mix whisky and soda by using one ice holder stirring every glasses on the table. These mentioned practices are common any where. But, actually, a part from these matters, epidemic germs usually contaminate from careless washing of fresh food before cooking or uncooked food.
Now, it is a sweet tammerine season and I got a lot from friends and also purchasing. I doubted that my diarrhoea might be contaminated from the sweet tammerine in the broken pods without washing. I ignored it and didn't think of suffering, only looked for the white mycellium mold on the pods. However, I could not conclude that what exactly was the cause of my diarrhoea. Chavalvut Chainuvati
