Huahin June 5th-6th,2009

Jasmine[Mali] ornamental aroma plant growing at the house we spent the night at Huahin

We, Tid, Nong Bim, Bobby and I went to Huahin spending the night there. The purpose was to visit our land own by my daughter, Nong Beau, at Houpkrapong. This would be the second time to visit this land.

We left Bangkok later than 6.00pm on Friday and arrived in Huahin almost 9.00pm. It was about 200 kilometre. Staying at Nong Bim's friend house, we then went to eat at the open restuarant behind the night and morning market. I could not manage to sleep long because of my deteriorated health and sleeping on the way travelling. I went out for exercise about 3.00am in the morning and had a chance to look around the house, thought of some problems remaining from working and tried to figure out. Jasmine performed an impressive smell at night there. My breakfast was dried fishes, fried fish ball with glutinous rice. The rest of my family went to have pork soup and rice at the small resturant in town.

On the way, Nong Bim as the driver, stopped at a beach between Cha-am and Huahin to look at the environment and scenery there. it was good to touch the beach air and atmosphere.

Nong Beau's land was 2 rai[ 6.25 rai is equal to 1 hectare or 2.5 rai is 1 acre], located on Houpkrapong Road, about 3 kilometre far from the main road to Bangkok. It was fenced with the metal wire without cultivation yet. However, it was suitable for living and growing. There were quite a few neighbours with crop land near by. This land was about half an hour drive from Huahin or 10 minutes drive from Cha-am. Therefore, it was near the tourist beaches

Before getting back home we stopped at Samutsakorn for lunch and sea food shopping. I dreamt like to live in a countryside and wished to stay out of Bangkok more often. We arrived home about 3.30pm and I certainly washed the car for next day driving in the city.

This picture was taken at home that we spent a night in Huahin

Gao, an aroma plant gave the adour smell at night in front of the house

Another view of the shrub calling in Thai "Gao" I think it is the same family with jasmine

Bobby, my grand nephew at the beach between Cha-am and Huahin. My son need to see the location there. Looked beautiful

I wish I could live here. It was very natural, and fresh air.

The best way, I and Tid, we both come to live together, I always dream about it.

Thajeen River in Samuthsakorn. The place very near Bangkok, was good for visiting.

We stopped here for shopping and having lunch

Then we headed back home

This was a short trip but it was good for a change. Huahin was a beach town which I have been for almost every years since born. Moreover, I always have trips to Huahin during my 40 years of working. Huahin was like my home and I know many things and condition there. Therefore, come back to Huahin was like coming back home again. Chavalvut Chainuvati
