Between July 31st-August 4th, I and my wife, Tid, was invited to join the group visiting Hongkong and Beijing. With the laboratry business, we visited the laboratories for the merchandizes quality test for domestic and exporting markets. The certification after testing were popular among the customers. We went to one lab in Hongkong and two in Beijing, one of which was the Chinese Academy.Then, we spent time for sight seeing and travelling.
At Suwanapoom Airport, before boarding, I went to have breakfast at the departure lounge. I ordered a bowl of fish ball noodle. The taste was OK for me and I thought it was one of the best comparing to several airports.
This photo was taken with my younger brother who was working in Hongkong. He was the engineer maintaining the aircrafts of the western well known company.
First conference in Hongkong. We got the very warm welcome from the famous laboratory, we learnt a lot from them and got the promise of further cooperation. This was our first day arriving.
The meeting went well. We were led to have the lab tour afterward.
They were listening but later, lots of questions were made. It was interesting to learn about toys and non-food quality test. Hongkong was one of the most famous toy producers.
This was the hotel we stayed in Hongkong. It was in the mid of shopping area. Staying at the hotel, sometimes we got to live in the smoking room. Unluckily
Hongkong view was beautiful. People were lucky to have such a nice place to live.

Guan Imm Goddess Statue Area. Lots people in Asia put much faith in Chao Mae Guan Imm.

Buddha Image on the Chao Mae Guan Imm Area looked beautifully. After that, we were led to see the jewellery at a big store. Some of us bought a necklace and some precious stones.
At Star Avenue. The walking path along the ocean to Star Ferry. The distant was more than one kilometre.
Lots of tourist on Star Avenue. It was beautiful as being a tourist spot. We walked there by ourselves.

In front of Star Ferry, this scene, they were having a good time. Funny, I used to be a drunken and did similar to these people for a long time as well. This remind me of the old days experience.
To Beijing. The picture was taken at the area before entering the Summer Palace. The place where Emperor lived in summer time. The Empress Susi Taihao was well known as being a woman ruling the people at that time. From a wife of the Emperor, she had made the famous long story in Chinese History.
Summer Palace Scenery. Numbers of tourist coming in summer time. We went there on Sunday evening, directly from the airport. Even it was late the place was still crowded.
An animal Statue.[I was not sure if it was a dragon or unicorn] It was the symbol of power. There were stroies of many statues to talk about.

One of the Palace where the Emperor lived. The woody palaces lined from the front gate to the back similar to Forbidden City which was another palace in Beijing. This was surrounded with trees and beautiful landscape.

In winter, water is frozen to ice. Men were able to play ice skates on the area.
Long corridor near the lake covered with roof. It's length was about a kilometre. The place looked comfortable to live in.
Empress Susi Taihao Picture. She looked powerly. This picture was at the pearl shop. We were led to see pearls in one shop after Summer Palace visiting.
The atmosphere of Beijing and all towns of China were furnished with trees and parks. These were the places where people come, gathering, walking, singing or dancing. In summer times, people always come to the parks because they mostly lived in the flats which were not so big.
At night, we went to see the gymnastic show. They were very well trained.
Chinese owned their name of capability in many areas including gymnastic performance.
They were making the miracle.

Hi! In the heavy Jar, the man was participating in the show. There were many performing like this in the cities all over China. The shows which perform miracle.

On the second day in Beijing we went to two organizations. In the morning, we went to meet with one of the plant protection Academy and went to see the private lab for GMO test in the afternoon. It was a kind of full day work. Nevertheless, the tour guide brought us to the Olimpic Stadium to test with the foot massage and the herbs doctors. Chinese herbs were very well known in the world but being expensive.

Our two days staying in this hotel. No cigarette smell this time. Luckily.

After Great Wall, we were brought to see jades which were beautiful but expensive. However, we were lucky to have a chance to look at them

This trip made my ambition to be willing to travel again. I really had a good time to learn new things for the laboratory visits and went to the famous places where I went before when I was still in the civil service. [I came to these places quite a few times] However, there still be many places I have not been in China and also in neighbour countries. My wishes to travel will never stop but how we can afford them. Many thanks to my colleagues at the central lab business for giving me the chance of freshness and ambition to go furher in this life.
