Going to Singapore for the week end
To join my son who has been there for his work. On Sep. 11-13th 2009.

Singapore is always a good place to visit
If we have money. The country looks very beautiful and the people are in good disciplinery

Time to explore Singapore. At Orchard Road on the first time came out of the Hotel

The place is for outdoor activities. I think people can come for a walk or rest.

We were about to walk there. This picture was taken from the large space opposite to the statue.

Before we came to east coast, we walk through the memorial of World War II
Dinner on the first day
Crabs, lobsters, fishes, fried Rice, over $100, not too bad, they were delicious.

There are many Sea Food Restuarants there. The place should be visited when we go to Singapore
Restuarant staff before daily service
It's a good idea to call meeting [and exercise?] in the evening before the customers service. The supervisor may remind some inappropriate behaviour and give them some encouragement
Lake for skiing
We saw the iron string around the lake for moving [pulling] skis. it is a good idea. I wonder if this place is also a water reservoir for the city

We passed Thai Embassy everytimes coming to Singapore because the place is on Orchard Road, a popular place for shopping

Orchard Road Station where we bought the tourist ticket. The station area is also used as very large shopping arcade.

When we got off the train, and connected with bus to Jurong Bird Park here.

This area is big. Look at the couple like us, or a single, or a flock. We are here

Bird shows at Jurong Birth park. There were many shows there

Santosa is in the opposite view where there is a high tower there

This area is the fly over bridge above the road, they built the large space as a park for people to have some rest. I found one in Hongkong like this too.
China Town Symbol
This road is not for cars but for the people coming to eat. The open restuarants lie on the left side.
We ate here on Saturday night
We ordered food like having in Thailand, tomyam[sour and sweet soup], scramble egg, and fried vegetable with rice

On the way back from China town, we passed through the bridge again. There were people sitting there for resting

On Sunday morning, it was so crowded. Poeple got the holiday and came to meet friends here.

We could not find where the bus was, so we took the cable car to Santosa.
